This hotel is THE place to stay in Talkeetna if you want to just be able to look out of your hotel room window and see the breathtaking and awesome Mt. McKinley! In addition to the lovely hotel and indoor lounge areas, which all take advantage of this incredible sight, the outdoor deck is the place where everyone comes out to see Denali peak out from the clouds and rise majestically above all of the other mountains. It is truly an experience if you are one of the lucky "30 percent" who witness...
Great place to stay, an oasis away from ordinary lodging, a great cabin in a wooded area, close enough to everything, sitting on the front porch out in nature is a great way to enjoy Alaska, great host with great communication, I cannot recommend this place enough.
This relaxing home away from home had charm, character, comfort great breakfast and a lovely view from the jacuzzi on the deck overlooking mountains and lakes. We would recommend and will stay again. The owner and staff were gracious and accomodating.
