Ljubljana is a gem of a city. With its dragons and picturesque bridges, it's a wonderful walk. Nice street markets and good food. Don't miss a puppet show and the cable car to the castle and lookout point!

Ljubliana is a beautiful city. Easy to walk around. Very pretty. I loved it! Highly recommend.
"Overall, we had an excellent stay at the Grand Plaza Hotel. It's walkable to the major sites. The staff were all very helpful and allowed us a late check out and others an early check in if they could. The breakfast was amazing with so many choices and the staff was very on top of refilling things that were emptied. We had a beautiful room, with an amazing view of the city and the other room had a castle view. The two things to be aware of - 1. The A/C works but not as well as other hotels we visited on Slovenia and it was an unusually cool few days. I'm not sure what it would do in the heat of the summer. 2. The bathroom is beautiful but has a shower/tub combo with a deep tub that was quite slippery. That may be a problem for some. "
"We returned to the hotel late at night and there was no parking slots for our car anymore. A staff member noticed our car’s entry to the parking lot, and offered us his parking space. We really appreciate this act of kindness. It also shows the security of this hotel is top-notch! Very good breakfast as well! The procedures for checking in and checking out are also efficient! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Ljubljana :) "
