"What a magical place to stay in Como. Beautiful restored palace. Our room was lovely, Wood ceiling, so much character, but modern bathroom. The bed was the most comfortable that we have slept in during our Italy visit. And it is worth staying simply for the breakfast. We have never experienced anything like it. The location is excellent, nestled in the pedestrian streets, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. Staff are always extremely helpful and give you a complementary drink upon arrival. All rooms have coffee / tea facilities and you get a bottle of water also. "

"I love our stay here! The workers and the place was excellent! It was so quiet and relaxing. We took a day trip out to Florence and it was so easy to get to. Nearby about 20 minutes is the Castello di Monteriggioni. Must check it out and the nearby winery. We tried going to the city of Siena but it was too hard to drive as there were a lot of ZTL. The food at this place IL grono was delicious. Love the breakfast as well!!! The cakes are delicious!!! Definitely a place to stay when u come...
