Park Taipei Hotel
"This is a great hotel just steps away from one of the entrances to Daan Metro station on the red and brown lines. The room was really nice and very comfortable. There is no bar/lounge in the hotel, but there is a very decent restaurant on the main floor. My 3-star rating for the staff is due to one issue I experienced prior to arriving. They were very helpful in offering a shuttle from the airport. I missed a message where they asked how big my carry-on luggage was, and whether it was a suitcase or rucksack (it's carry-on folks, it can't be too big) . Anyway, I replied the day before we were arriving but was told I was required to reply a week before that! Like, really? That left a sour taste in my mouth. They were more than willing to arrange a shuttle back to the airport when we checked out with a day's notice! Regardless of this peculiar-ness, don't take their shuttle anyway - their "special rate" is more expensive than an Uber!"

Holiday Inn Taoyuan Airport by IHG
"Stayed here for one night because of a long layover between flights. Room and facilities very clean. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Shuttle from the hotel back to the airport was a nice perk. A note on the shuttle, only from the hotel back to the airport. Need to exchange some money for cab fare from the airport to the hotel upon arrival. The fare was about 300 TWD (~10 USD). This was not clear to me from the airport description, but the information counter in the airport sorted me out."

Miramar Garden Taipei
"We believe poked this hotel because of the advertised airport shuttle- BUT there is no airport shuttle! There is a shuttle running the MRT station that is a 6 minute walk from the hotel. While the hotel is nice, it is not near anything that tourists would usually see."

Hyatt Regency Taoyuan International Airport
"Convenient location from MRT and easy access to the airport with the complimentary shuttle service."

Caesar Metro Taipei
"Everything inside the hotel is nice and clean. The staff is helpful. It is right above the Wanhua train station. If you like convenience, you may want to choose the location near Ximen. Outside the hotel is in an old and not so clean Wanhua district."

Grand Hyatt Taipei
"Great location with easy access to Taipei’s most famous sites."

The Grand Hotel
"Very Grand. Rooms extra large. Clean comfortable. They have robes and slippers! Get a room with a balcony looking over the city. Did not have any meals due to high cost. Good hiking behind the hotel. Shuttles to the MRT. Only complaint is lack of bath supplies like there was hand soap but no hand lotion. This is a must stay for the ambiance in Taipei!"

Mandarin Oriental, Taipei
"I’ve stayed in hotels around the world, and never experienced better service than this one."

City Suites Gateway
"The only thing was different to walk from the hotel to the metro station, not very friendly and accessible, everything out was fine. Thanks"
