"We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the property was - we booked it based on closeness to O'Hare. It smelled really clean & was so visually nice! Bed/pillows were very comfortable! We highly recommend this hotel"
"clean, and even though it faced the building, it provided good privacy with no outside sightlines while still letting in natural light.
The location in Printers Row is wonderfully quiet, yet super convenient. There are Divvy bike rental stations and an CTA Orange Line station within short walking distance, making getting around the city a breeze. Highly recommended!"
"This was a perfect stay! Only a block away from the subway station (easy transport into the city), 25-30 min drive to the airport, and a wonderful neighborhood… my husband and I will definitely be staying at this hotel again!"
"Wonderful location in the Gold Coast of Chicago. It was easy to walk to all different types of restaurants, go to the beach, walk to Michigan Ave and get public transportation. Great place to stay with kids and family or for a couples weekend!"
"The hotel was clean. The staff was amazing. The location is also great. I love being right on the water. Perfect for a stroll outside on the boardwalk."
"Super convenient location with very close CTA bus stops to connect you almost anywhere you want to go. Close to walk to the many shopping options on Michigan Ave. the lobby/common areas of the hotel were beautiful. The room was fine, had everything we needed (though a microwave would have been nice) but it looked like they did some repairs in and room but didn’t finish them well so there were patches in the wall paper- small things that just stood out when the main level looked so luxurious."
"Amazing room, very clean, updated, nice kitchen & bath, washer/dryer. ½ block from union station. Modern feel, close amenities. Great stay at a great price!"
"Excellent stay and a decent price so close to Michigan Avenue. Rooms and property were very clean and up to date. The only complaint at all, was just that the room itself was kind of small, but that's normal in that area with tall, narrow buildings. Great breakfast, valet parking was quick and helpful. One of the better valet parking prices at less than $60 a day."
"This was our second stay at the River Hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms and property. Prime location for many activities in Chicago, as one can walk virtually everywhere. Many restaurants in the area in addition to attractions. A wonderful hotel."
"The location and room itself worked well for us after a wedding on the Southside and using a Spot Hero parking place. The breakfast was very good, made fresh with good options but the tables needed to be bused and wiped down. The lobby needed tending to as well"

Real nice property , Sylvia went above and beyond after a long travel day she let me and my wife check in early that made us very grateful and everytime were in Chicago area will stay here (just the small stuff that makes people happy ) Thank you again Sylvia , breakfast Buffet was great and Airportshuttle was good too
After a terrible experience with the airline & an unexpected overnight stay without our bags, it was refreshing to end up at this Hampton Inn after a long international flight. The hotel was affordable & had a convenient 24 hr shuttle service. When the front desk concierge found out we didn’t have our bags she put a little bag together for us with tooth brushes, tooth paste, deodorant & razors. It was much appreciated.
Small, quaint hotel in the heart of Oak Park. Well maintained and very clean and neat. The Italian restaurant, La Notte was fantastic, both in food and service. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
This was the fourth time I’ve stayed here, and I’ll keep coming back. The location is very handy for families of Columbia College, the rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and it’s priced well.
Wonderful boutique hotel in excellent Fulton Market area. Walkable to excellent dining and shopping options. The staff were all very friendly and efficient and we loved the convenience of the attached coffee shop.
Arlo Chicago is in the perfect location for walkable access to so many Chicago sights, excellent food (please try the Broken English Taco Pub around the corner!), bars, shopping, etc. It was also very conveniently located to access the L when we needed to get to other parts of the city!
The staff was BEYOND accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and exceeded all comfort expectations!
I also highly recommend the lobby bar for a great happy hour spot!!!
Everyone at this hotel...
We chose this hotel last minute and we were nervous because there were a couple recent negative reviews. There were 4 of us in our family and couldn't find anything negative to say about the hotel. The only disappointing fact was that the rooftop bar was not open but that wasn't a big deal. Everything was very clean. I actually wiped the floor in our room with a wet, white wash cloth, it was clean! There was no hair in the bathroom from a previous guest. There was no hair in the bed from a...
Very pleased would recommend to anyone planning a visit in downtown and looking for a place too stay at a reasonable price love the fact parking is available on site for 39 tax might be a little pricey but it’s way cheaper than most places in down town I payed a total of about $150 including the parking for the night the only thing I did not like was that you can’t control the central air settings it’s controlled by the staff so I had too call a few time about it being cold so they decided too...
Convenience store across street, lots of restaurants, Dunkin' donuts and coffee across street, boat architecture tour nearby, riverwalk nearby, several museums nearby and Grant Park with Cloud Gate walking distance.
We will definitely be staying here again! Great location, clean room, and great service. They even have a great complimentary breakfast which is a must have in a city like Chicago.
The staff was great also. We had to switch trains for an earlier one due to weather and got into Chicago in the AM. Check in is 4pm and with two small children we were worried about what to do for hours but the staff helped us out and luckily had a room available.
