Hotels in Makena

First time in Maui and first time staying at the Four Seasons and the experience was awesome. Hotel and staff are very helpful and nice throughout our stay. Complimentary bottles of water and Nespresso coffee/tea available in the room. Also, complimentary juice and water available in the lobby.. Resort has a adults only pool section for those that want to relax and want a quieter environment. The beach is very clean. Staff is always there to help and setup pool/beach chairs. Food is pricy at the...

Beautiful property in a perfect location. Super clean and amenities galore. The suites are perfect for a family. Towels for pool and beach are provided, along with sunscreen, beach toys, snorkeling gear for kids, Towels for day trips are provided from valet. 10/10

For some reason because it had the word "Hotel" in its name I didn't have great expectations. However, the entire place is like a very high end NEW resort. The room was ridiculously nice. It was like a nice sized one bedroom apartment (NOT a studio). The oversized shower area is super cool with a rain shower head. The kitchen had Sub-Zero drawer fridge and freezer. It had a Nespresso machine with capsules (the best coffee you can drink!!). You would be hard-pressed to find a finer room...

Maui Coast Hotel was an ideal base in Kihei! It was centrally located right across the street from Kamaole I Beach, and while I wouldn't necessarily recommend staying anywhere in Kihei without a car, there were definitely places to eat and hang in walkable distance in both directions, and the hotel also offered a complementary shuttle service within a 3-mile radius. For those with cars, the plentiful free parking was a nice contrast vs the predatory parking fees at the Wailea resorts. The...

Beautiful new hotel. Great location to walk to nearby food and shop options. The hotel pool and bar area are next to each other, and get busy in the evening. We paid for parking, and it was close and easy to access.

Fantastic resort. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful pool and beach. Rooms were great. Didn’t leverage restaurants as reviews were not stellar and far overpriced ($50 for a bowl of pasta?). Only negative is they felt understaffed. For example quick breakfast place to grab coffee, sandwich, etc was always busy with 10 people in line and took 30 mins. Poor staff their tried there best and super nice, but they needed more help as that’s a silly wait for coffee

For not being a beachfront hotel this place is beautifully located in Wailea with AMAZING views, made me forget it wasn't on the beach. That being said we were close enough to the beach that it didn't even matter. The hotel provided a shuttle to wherever we wanted to go within a three mile radius which was super convenient. The staff at the hotel provided a warm aloha welcome including a shell lei. The shuttle drivers were very polite, opening doors, helping with bags and answering any questions...

Great property overall...adult pool if you want to relax...family pool and a huge water slide for the kids. Poolside food was excellent...everything on the menu was fantastic! If u want a cheaper meal..walk up to the market..just above the hotel...a 2 min walk...they have everything..from sandwiches..pizza...poki..breakfast..all good and at a third of the price...if u have teens the market is the place to send them instead of poolside food at $20 an item... Snorkel equipment free(though we...

Enjoyed our stay. Close to beach. Clean room and friendly staff.

This place is absolutely magical. Perfectly situated on the most beautiful oceanfront property among lush gardens and swaying palm trees. It indeed feels like an exclusive boutique hotel. The service was stellar, the plentiful and delicious buffet breakfast should not be missed, the spa is dreamy, and the pools and private beach are glorious. The only downside is that 2 of the 3 restaurants on-site are specialty, signature restaurants, leaving only one option for more standard fare, and the...

Near to lots of beaches. Very clean and the staff is wonderful. This was our third stay here. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

The Mana Kai is a great place to stay in South Kihei with all that it has to offer. It's right on the water at the top-end of an amazing beach with fantastic access to all amenities. I love being able to go to the gym (that has great new equipment), come up stairs have breakfast, rent a paddle board then walk straight to the beach for the morning baptism in Maui's warm Waters all within the same property. The 5 Palms restaurant on property was great for everything from cocktails to fine dining...

The unit was clean and very well appointed. We had a villa on the top row of the complex in cluster 75. The views from the lanai were spectacular, especially at sunset! Shuttle service to the Grand Wailea was very convenient, as were access to the pool/towel facilities over there.

Clean everything great time great location!

Great hosts! A clean, quiet, and spacious place to stay.

This resort had several pools that were kid friendly.

Very nice, clean, centrally located. Breakfast was very nice. Check in process was so easy.

We loved this suite! Eva and Jim, the property owners, went above and beyond any Bed and Breakfast I have ever been to. I have been to many B&Bs and this one is the absolute BEST! I would give them more stars if I could. They had an amazing extended continental breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, toast, pastries etc much more than we expected. The suite is beautifully decorated, with all the comforts of home. They truly have thought of everything down to having beach chairs/boards...

Excellent value for Maui.

Ali'i Kai is just a short walk to my favorite cafe on Maui: That's a Wrap...and then from there just a short walk to one of the most beautiful, walkable beaches in Kihei. I used to live in an Ali'i Kai condo, so this was like coming home. Incredible, all-around!
