Both the Kilmainham Gaol and the Irish Museum of Modern Art on beautiful old Royal Barracks ground are nice to visit. It is a bit of a walk to other places, but still an excellent comfortable hotel, with nice pool for relaxing — not swimming, but hydrotherapy.
This hotel is one of the most incredible places I’ve ever stayed in! Comfortably nestled just outside Dublin, it’s quiet and peaceful and gorgeous! The staff were amazing, The Spa was to die for, and I would only ever want to stay at this hotel if I come back to Ireland :) if I could do a rating of more than 5, I totally would!
Having never been to Dublin before, we carefully considered where to stay. We couldn’t have made a better choice than the Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin. Location, location, location! The Gresham sits on bustling O'Connell Street, just a hundred yards from the Spire of Dublin and the lively shopping area of Henry Street. A really nice hotel within walking distance of all the major attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful. The adjacent pub, Darkey Kelly’s has great beer and Irish dishes as well as live traditional Irish music.
Great hotel Thomas the receptionist was very nice and welcoming gave us some great restaurant suggestions even the restaurant and bar at the hotel were very good abd great service. Its a 15 min walk to downtown. Highly recommend to stay here very comfortable King size bed very big bathroom and super CLEAN!
This boutique hotel is different than a chain hotel and so worth the money. We stayed for 6 nights and loved our stay. Greatest location for shopping and pubs, very quiet to sleep and the beds and pillows were fantastic. We arrived at 6 am and they had one room ready for us because we had emailed ahead of time that we would Be arriving early. Guest area in lower level was great also. Only problem were the room keys not working very well, frustrating. I would stay again

Loved the vibe and look, especially the little bar/dining lounge. Food was great. The decor is amazing. The location was perfect, as it was walking distance to everything yet set back a few streets so that was quiet enough. They also held our bags all day on our last day since our train wasn’t leaving until late in the day.
