Hotels in Leca Do Balio

My husband and I stayed there for our 2nd anniversary after a few days on the Porto side as we were touring a few port lodges. I can't say better things about this hotel - the people (especially Tiago) were warm and friendly, and they event treated us to complimentary drinks at the bar since our room wasn't ready upon arrival. From the tour of the onsite wine collection (largest collection of Portugese wine in the world!), to the infinity pool, to the Michelin-starred restaurant ("The...

Hotel Jaguar was a nice new property. The staff was great! Extremely helpful and informative. They offer a city tour which was a really nice touch and a hotel shuttle included in your stay. Would definitely stay here again!

A

We loved our three night stay at Memoria Porto. The staff treated us like royalty and our room overlooked the Douro River. One tip, we can offer is to take the # 500 bus to the coast and pay a lot less for authentic Portugese food, wine, and beer. We will definitely be back. The morning breakfast was filling and delightful.

Nice view of river and loved a restaurant A Bolinas right up the road. It is a good walk into the city center, the funicular can be helpful.

Excellent beautiful property Staff extremely nice

The rooms were lovely, staff friendly and helpful. Rafaela made excellent recommendations for dinner and offered to make reservations. The breakfast buffet was included and delicious. We loved walking everywhere

Loved the stay, in a great area, and very nice staff!

Room clean, excellent maintenance and personnel couldn't be better.

Our room was upgraded - clean and comfortable, double sinks, Returning later at night to the room, we discovered a bottle of champaign with a beautiful pastry with a candle and matches. They noticed that my husband had a birthday that day. The hotel is in the center of the city, next to Sao Bento train station that we used for reaching close-by towns - Braga, Aveiro. We liked everything!

Beautiful hotel, very modern and gives you a sense of local Portugese charm. Staff was great, location was great, room was perfect, and amenities were just right! Thanks so much for all your hospitality :) And a special thank you to Mariana for all your help and friendliness!!!

Very nice hotel , nice restaurant with amazing food and service

The service was awesome! The staff was super nice! Special thanks to Claudia for taking such good care of us. We were treated like family members! If we ever go back to Porto, I will choose this hotel again.

A great relaxing hotel with all the needed services. The spa is relatively small (not for Europe) and provide very good services professionally delivered. The breakfast is very good and excellent service. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully designed, however, be aware of lack of privacy if traveling with friends or family members, the shower is all glass and visible from all angles of the room, the toilet a bit better but not totally private either. Overall a great property, centrally...

Our stay was very enjoyable. Great location, comfy room, and especially wonderful staff. Would stay there again!

Location, excellent staff clean and good location.

This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. This is not a 5 star hotel, but it’s absolutely a 5 star experience. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We had a massage, used the complimentary sauna, enjoyed the included mini fridge items, and had breakfast in bed. The art is thoughtful and fun. The room is gorgeous, very well curated and comfortable. Don’t miss the pillow menu for your preferred fill and firmness. We stayed at the garden level and it was peaceful and...

I stayed here in September 2022 on a Girls trip. The hotel is very well located just a short walk to the shops, market, and attractions. The hotel is beautiful in layout and room were lovely. The beds were plush and comfy.
