"To be honest as a travel agent I am not entirely happy with the experience.
Our room was initially allocated to some one else. Then we were put in another category lower. Then our room was changed after I asked. The gentleman who assisted us had no personal service nor apology.
The toilet in the room takes forever to refill which can be frustrating.

Had a fantastic stay. The room was clean and very well appointed. The staff extreme courteous, and efficient. The food was delectable.This was my first stay, but most definitely not the last!

Every aspect of our stay was intentionally welcoming. From the welcome beverages to the bedside treat, we felt cared for every moment of our stay. The tour of the sanctuary allowed us to have an inside look into the life of Nelson Mandela. Each person at the sanctuary told us more about the beautiful history of his time there. We highly recommend a stay at the sanctuary to all who visit Johannesburg.

I arrived much earlier than check-in time, they accommodated me without hesitation. The staff was really nice. The food was great. The breakfast is unbelievable. My room was very clean and organized. They were also very helpful with directions to places I wanted to go. I would highly recommend this place. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had to go to south Africa for work for a week and the hotel was great. They had breakfast every morning with the large selection. The staff was very accommodating too, they arranged a driver for me for the week and helped me book tours for the very limited free time I had. it's conveniently located next to the casino so you have a lot of food options too.
Perfection. Staff, spa, room, shower (one of the best showers in the world), bed, the setting, food! It does not get much better than the Saxon. Worth every penny.
Lovely hotel in a nice neighborhood in Johannesburg. Staff was lovely and the roof top bar was the perfect place to unwind after a day of touring. Would definitely stay again!
Nothing but great things to say about my experience at Over the Moon. It started with a friendly and personalized greeting from Brian, the proprietor of the guest house, and that sane level of attention and kindness lasted throughout my entire stay.
Brian goes the extra mile to make sure you’re comfortable and taken care of. He even gave me and other guests a ride to the mall when he was headed in that direction. I didn’t have a converter for my phone charger and he lent me one, no hassle....
