"A few great staff member that actually cared the rest were nice but only were attentive when tipped. The room condition is horrible for a 6 year old property! I had mold in the shower, tiles coming off, water smelling, room too hot. But the worst is the food! at best it was a 7 for a few choices the rest is a 4/10. Lunch you basically have 1 place or outside that served all the same things"

"✅ THE GOOD
The property was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, and while the shower pressure was just okay, we had no complaints about the accommodations. The evening shows were entertaining and a nice way to wind down. The drinks were fine, nothing special. The Italian restaurant was by far our favourite.
The location is a major plus. You're just a short walk from 5th Avenue, which is vibrant and perfect for an evening stroll.
❌ THE NOT-SO-GOOD
The food at the main buffet and most restaurants left something to be desired. The menu caters heavily to an American palate, which may or may not suit you. The Italian restaurant was the clear exception.
The biggest thing to know before booking: THERE IS NO BEACH. The waterfront is rocky, and if a sandy beach is on your must-have list, look elsewhere.
Pool chairs are another frustration. Guests stake their claim before 8am, and the staff does nothing to enforce a fair-use policy. Good luck getting a lounger if you sleep in.
The resort's vibe feels more like a retirement community. If you're looking for a lively, energetic resort vibe, this likely isn't your spot.
Bottom line: Great if you want a clean, relaxed base near 5th Avenue. Not great if you want a beach, a variety of delicious food, or a more dynamic atmosphere."
"This resort has been one of the best I have been so far. Honestly the staff was nice but Sebastian in particular was an amazing worker. He made sure everything was good every day we were there. The food there are so many restaurants in the property that you can choose from and they are all so good!!!! I can’t wait to come back and visit again 1000/10"
"BEWARE! This was our 3rd trip to The Grand MP in the last 12 months. This will be our last. Each time we have been, more & more restrictions, less inclusions. They admitted to having higher room categories available yet refused to honour my upgrade. The manager at the front desk, Jesus, was very rude to me. Book something else. This is not the place. No updating has happened to the older buildings. They just completed construction on some of the newer buildings. They look incredible. But the rest of the resort has not been up-kept. The elevator in our building was down the entire stay. There was hair in my son’s food one night at dinner. The mixed drinks have a terrible chemical flavour. Towels weren’t always replaced and we had to call a few times to get some for our showers. If zero was a rating, I’d give it that. I didn’t even use a single dollar of the credits I received - they’re not getting a single cent from me again. "
"Grand Riviera Princess was actually under construction amd ended up staying at their sister location.. Sunset princess. Rooms were clean and regularly stocked. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Definitely returning in the future"

"The pool was amazing. The property was beautiful. However, the customer service was terrible. Everyone seemed unhappy, and in a rush. There were a couple of great waiters in the buffet and the Asian bistro, however, I did wind up getting food poisoning from the bistro."
