It was an excellent hotel experience.

Loved this hotel...the staff was so friendly and the property itself was beautful! The gardens and pool/beach were the perfect setting and the breakfast buffet was excellent. I really like Bophut beach....good water for swimming and on the quieter side..Fishermans Village is a short walk by beach or road and full of good shops and restaurants. Rooms are very nicely decorated and each with their own little patios...I knocked 1 star off the room as we would have preferred the bathroom area more...

Tangsai bay resort is a environmentally beautiful relaxing place. We had a mountain side villa which was spacious and romantic with huge outside deck and comfortable large living room bedroom and bathroom area. Clean and comfortable beautiful view of sea. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Only criticism is that no air conditioning in any of the restaurants although the food was plentiful and tasty. Overall strongly recommend it.

Fun place

We had a great 2 night stay at this hotel. It's located on a beautiful beach which overlooks Koh Phangan and Ang Thong Marine park. We could even see our home island of Koh Tao as it was clear skies. Our room (plunge pool room) was very spacious and comfortable, although definitely needed redecorating and is a bit older than another Tolani we have stayed at. For the villa grill dinner, only chef and waiter should stay there for duration of the dinner. The other helpers should leave and come back to clean once the dinner is finished.

Tha Hansar Samui was a true delight. The staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly. They even created a gluten free muffin and bread breakfast item for me, as I'm a celiac, on-demand. This was not something they'd served previously. The hotel was so great, we extended our stay 3 extra nights. All we had to do to book a tour was walk to the front desk or call and say what we wanted to do. They arranged the time and pick up to activity sites. Very calm and beautiful. Quick taxi ride to Fisherman's village for bars and restaurants, but not much else in the area.

From the first minute we arrived on the property our experience was fabulous. The staff was very courteous, professional, and completely committed to making every aspect of our stay wonderful. The landscaping is very tropical and lush, making for a pleasant stroll past the multiple beautiful sparkling blue pools in route to the breathtaking private beach. It was close

Upgraded our room because the other one was under repair. Managed to crash a motor bike and break my arm - the staff and owner couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Wonderful views as well as caring staff. Would highly recommend.

Food and spa were great, staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Hotel is close to many nice restaurants and attractions at Fisherman's Wharf.

We spent a week in the Sala Samui. Everything was great! Our villa with a pool was fantastic. The friendly service, the breakfast, and the pools/beach were wonderful too.
