"We spent 1 night at Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam and would gladly have stayed more. The staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and had all your essential amenties, the decor is very modern, the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options. The hotel offers a daily happy hour with free drinks and also free bicycle hire, unfortunately we were not to make use of these, but was very impressed it was offered. It is also situated in a very central location, walking distance to alot of the major attractions and Centraal station. Would defo recommend if visiting the city. "
"Amazing architecture and beautiful hotel.Swimming pool was fabulous and open till 11pm which was great as not many hotels keep the pool open so late. Great location -7 mins walk from the train station and located in the right place for exploring.Ate in the hotel restaurant one evening , again good food and beautiful decor."
"Dikker & Thijs was wonderful! I had to unexpectedly change my plans due to weather conditions canceling my flights and the staff was very helpful and considerate. Every staff member I interacted with during my stay was lovely and welcoming!
The room was very cute and the location simply can’t be beat. You can walk to everything you want to see and if you need to use the tram, there’s one right out front. Despite the tram being so close and it being close to great bars and restaurants, the rooms were very quiet and we had a room facing a canal/street so I was expecting more noise.
I can’t wait to go back to Amsterdam and I’ll definitely be staying at Dikker & Thijs again!"
