"This hotel is a quick stop near the old town. Short stay for 1-3 nights is ok. The room we stayed in was small but again enough to sleep in since we spent a whole day walking in town. The staff was helpful and nice and a good breakfast is a plus."

The hotel staff were friendly and kind, from checking in to drinks at the bar and check out they were helpful. The bartender even recommended better wine for us when we made a selection and gave us a sip of what we ordered versus what he gave us to show us the difference. The room was comfortable, it was a simple room which is perfect for Bamberg because you will be out all day and part of the evening anyways in this cute town! I would stay here again for sure!
The receptionist was excellent, very helpful, good english and gave good instructions for parking in hotel's garage and about good restaurants. Very good service.

Room was decently sized and clean. It came with free water and a bottle of beer (nice touch). The bathroom is small but functional.
However, the building doesn't have an elevator. Arrival by car is quite complicated, because of construction in this part of town. No parking around the building, but the closest public (underground) parking is a short walk. However, it is very expensive.
Awesome hotel for a traveler looking to drive around Bavaria. Visited several nearby castles, Bamberg, and Thomann Music. Breakfast was awesome, Beer in the bar was awesome. Parking was great. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Will stay again on my next trip one year from now.
Baroque magnificence. Was unfortunately way too full. So that the breakfast buffet was overrun and the Servers (coffee, tea etc) were slightly challenged.
