"We’re not “all inclusive” type people and prefer to have a kitchen to prepare food, so Kamkat was great. It was also not close in to the “inclusive” path of hotels lined end to end on the beach. Food stores were not so close (lots of souvenir shops mostly). But was found many options north of D400 that were walkable. The staff were wonderfully kind and helpful. We arrived on an early morning red eye flight. They welcomed us with a ready room and invited us to enjoy breakfast first. The only inconvenience: Music was too loud in the evenings from the Otium Hotel night shows and from the neighboring hotel. They all should adopt a rule to turn everything off by 11pm the latest.
