OLD TOWN SNAIL Design Apartments

10/10 Excellent

"The apartments ( we stayed in apartment Snail2) were very modern had everything you could need!. Had a great nights sleep, bed and sofa bed were very comfortable, even had the snail design logo on the pillow cases. Very much enjoyed watching the snails on the walls from the sofa bed especially at night when they were lit up. In reception they had water and paper cups provided which was much welcomed in the Bucharest heat. Centrally located in the old town but situated back from the main strip but 60 seconds walk and you’re there. Highly recommend would stay again when visiting Bucharest. Molton Brown toiletries were a nice touch as was the bath robes (available on request)."

"Good location next to old town, room with a nice terrace. There is a weird smell in the hallway and the room like some have mentioned, but not prominent and strangely no smell in the bathroom. Room is on the small end with one side of bed pushed to the wall. Communication via WhatsApp is always easy and quick but not always satisfactory. Only 2 coffee pods for 3 nights and no stocked (first round on the house) mini-fridge like advised. Specifically asked for more non-decaf pods and was given 5 decaf pods the next day and was told by the cleaning lady only decaf left now and no more welcome package in the mini-fridge anymore. The message reply I got from WhatsApp was: “These are complimentary and we can’t control what’s in the welcome package” lol"

"The room was great, but really more than than a simple traveler like me needed. I did appreciate having the availability of a washer/dryer. To those travelers who need more, then this property has forgotten nothing in the way of amenities and supplies. Even though there was no front desk, communication with personnel via text messages was prompt and clear. Overall, it was a very comfortable, convenient, and affordable experience. I would not hesitate staying here again if I ever return to Bucharest."

"We had a fabulous 5 night stay at the Marmorosch! It’s in the perfect area for sight seeing in The Old Town and has fantastic amenities. We used the gym, pool and spa everyday, we even managed to fit in a fantastic couples massage. The hotel is beautiful and clean, the breakfast is superb and the staff are all so lovely and helpful. I would recommend this hotel over and over, it did not disappoint at all. With a special thanks to Andrew who was incredibly helpful and an absolute pleasure!"
