"We had a wonderful room with a view. Mt Fuji was very clear on the day we arrived. We had clear shots of Mount Fuji for 3 whole days. Amazing. We didn’t use the public bath as there were a lot of visitors. But in room bath was amazing. Just bought bath salts to use. Parking was readily available and we were blessed to see some wildlife as we drove down to town. Saw a small family of wild boars and deer. Lovely to hear birds singing in the morning.
Breakfast was good as well."
"The Fujiya Hotel was an amazing experience. It’s a gorgeous, well preserved, historic hotel with stunning gardens and awesome amenities!
We utilized the spa and onsen both nights of our stay and are very sad to leave!
I hope I have the opportunity to return to this beautiful hotel!"
"A nice getaway into the mountains of Hakone. The private onsens were really nice and relaxing (about $15 USD for an hour), easy to book too. The massage services were wonderful as well. My wife and I got breakfast and dinner included in our stay as well which had a pretty good variety and quality to it. Convenient too since there are not really any restaurants nearby but you can get to one if you take the bus or walk for a bit. Great staff, clean facilities. The washer dryer situation was rough. Washed well enough but the drying part didn't work so well."
"Beautiful property with amazing traditional Japenese meals. The onsen was an incredibly peaceful experience and the staff were all incredibly helpful."
"This is a lovely property. We had a large corner room with a nice view. A good sized living room as well as the bedroom. The kaiseki dinner was excellent and the wait staff were helpful and polite. The onsen was hot at 44.5 deg and it relaxed me after a day of touring."
