Beautiful location. Comfortable room, as advertised in pictures. Wonderful community feel. Welcoming and helpful staff. Great snorkeling right off the beach. Only downside was that there was a club nearby that was blasting music at night and we could really feel the bass. Made it hard to fall sleep.
This is NOT an all-inclusive resort...the Blue Angel Resort is for the diver/traveler that likes to get out and immerse themselves in the local fare. It is very centrally located (you can walk to town...or rent a bike from the hotel), a great atmosphere (the staff is the best on the island), and has the best view of the sunset from your private balcony.
The staff took such great care of me. I was traveling for Ironman Cozumel, and the team was excited to watch all the athletes race and congratulate our success. I'm coming back next year and staying at Cozumel Palace again. I already booked my stay!
La Pasión is a gem ! It is an older hotel with only 60 rooms , but it is charming. Located fronting the Plaza Municipal, which on Friday-Sunday hosts a market with food and items. Breakfast at adjoining restaurant is available only to guests of the hotel who prepay, and is well worth the price. The restaurant opens later in the day to the public and features mostly Spanish food , not Mexican. 2 small pools in the lush courtyard, and 1 rooftop pool. If you are lucky perhaps Octavio the cat will...
This is a great, little resort.
The beach is, in my opinion, is one of the best in the area. It is white and powdery. The staff rakes it each morning so there are no rocks or debris. There could be more beach chairs, but the staff work very hard to assure that you get a chair.
My room was perfectly located within walking distance to the beach. I had a room directly above Rick’s bar and the adjoining pool, but never felt it was too loud.
The staff are all very hard working and welcoming. The...
It is a place geared towards divers. It's an older crowd. If you're looking for a party place, this ain't it. Yes, there are good times but the diving, right across the street, is where it's at. The staff is absolutely marvelous! Food is good. Grounds are beautiful. I WILL stay there again.
This hotel was wonderful, from the pool area to the breakfast. The only two things that were a bummer was, the pool and bar closed at 9:00 PM, needs a later time of 10-11 PM, and the water pipes rattled loudly in the shower. There was an incident with two female guests who admittedly went off the beaten path and had an incident, and i felt the front desk staff was less the assisting in aiding them to the point where i handled it (which is hard when you don't speak spanish at all, my fault there)...
the place is nice , the only thing when you are trying to rest ,employees talk or yell infront of your door , even though your door has a sign that saiy do not disturb...
other than that The staff is great
We recently stayed at this place and our stay was quite comfortable and pleasant. The facilities are recent and very attractive, but above all the attention of the staff, from security, front desk and housekeeper very attentive and friendly. We will definitely come back.
The hotel was a ideal location for our Chichen Itza tour meeting and allow us the enjoy the evening at Playa del Carmen. The room was larger and more spacious than expected. The only thing that I would change is to add a table and a couple of chairs; there is plenty of space.
Absolutely beautiful, the staff was wonderful, if you rent a car the hotel has a security gaurd/parking assistant, that take care of your car if there is room in the lot, the only downside is that is you get a room facing the street you will be up until 5 am because of the new night club across the street.
Came there for a sporting event. Ended up barely leaving the resort. All my needs were met. There was a nice beach, pool, and room. Food was available around the clock. There was even local wildlife on site. I will definitely stay here again.
The staff is amazing. Very accommodating and friendly. The concierge helped arrange fantastic trips. Snorkeling right outside the hotel was better than the snorkeling we had in paid excursions.
This is a beautiful resort. The grounds are gorgeous and are immaculate! The wonderul sandy beach is perfect for a swim or float. You can also snorkle on site. Rooms are comfortable and well furnished. The staff is amazing, and goes out of their way to make sure that your every need is met. With a vast array of restaurants, food is plentiful and is very good.
Me and one of my girlfriends went here for a little getaway and it was fantastic. The hotel staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities were very clean and simple. There was no food available at the hotel, but a few good restaurants within two blocks' walking distance and we never felt unsafe walking during the day. I wouldn't recommend girls walking at night because there is a strip club/bar a block towards the freeway (on the way to the main strip, 5a avenida) and we almost...
This is by far the best resort in Riviera Maya! This was our second time there and we will be back. The property is stunning. Natural mangroves run all throughout. The walking on the grounds is beautiful. You have access to all four properties no matter which one you stay at. We love Kantenah, but Colonial and White Sands are equally great. The room was more than we ever expected! THE FOOD! OMG it’s amazing. Highly recommend El Gaucho in the TRS side. It’s the best food I’ve ever eaten.
