i booked this place for 2 reasons: the great reviews and the proximity to the great wall - We were very pleased. Run by a family, the owners’ son picked us up and drove us back to the airport. Not only did he drive us back to the airport but he actually escorted us to the check in counter and helped us carry our bags etc. He also helped us in purchasing the tickets to the great wall. The home cooked food was great.....so delicious!!! My entire family loved it. The great wall is about a 10-15 min...

I stayed one evening between an international and domestic flight. The health club was staffed, clean and equipment was modern and in good condition. Breakfast buffet was also good and the staff was very attentive. Best of all, the Head Concierge, Michael, spent an hour on the phone with my domestic airline making certain that My ticket was changed to a later flight. Very professional and helpful staff. All that you need and a convenient location.

A wonderful eco-hotel set in a quaint rural setting just outside of Beijing. Excellent views of the surrounding mountains and the Great Wall of China you can hike directly from the nearby village up to Tower 19 of the Great Wall. The room was amazing with wonderful views and the staff was excellent they even had a western-style breakfast and dinner menu with a local Chinese hot-pot option very nearby operated by the same company. I would recommend this place and I would love to come back.

I stayed here for 12 days and it was absolutely the best Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed in. The staff was absolutely wonderful, especially the breakfast Chef and ladies at the breakfast kitchen. So nice and helpful every morning. The breakfast itself was like a 5-star report. Big room, great bed, shower and toilet was top notch quality. You can even have a robot 🤖 deliver your room service. you get a LOT of hotel and amenities for the room rate. Great location too

The airport staff are also staying on this property. Interpret it however you wish but I considered it an honor and also an indicator of how close this place is to the airport. Cheaper than staying at the hotels within the airport and classier given the place's decor. Just make sure you find the shuttle buses (mini buses) at the terminal (3 if you're an international traveler). Good place for people with long layovers.
