This was a great place to stay just be first starting the El Camino. The staff was really friendly and kind, there's a grocery store right across the street, the town is really safe and quiet, at the breakfast is really phenomenal.
This was easily the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the thoughtful and attentive staff to the beautiful property to the clean rooms, this place has it all. We felt well taken care of the entire stay and enjoyed all of the complimentary items provided by the hotel. It was so peaceful and allowed us to enjoy our time in San Sebastián that much more. The hotel setting is one of a kind. It's a very old fortress that was converted to a beautiful 4 stars hotel. Everything was done to provide all the comfort you would expect from a luxurious hotel while maintaining the structure intact. It has great character and beautiful and tasteful decoration. The view from the windows is great as well. It is in a walking distance from all the attractions of this small town. The breakfast was superb as everything else in the hotel.
Great location, just a few blocks from the beach. Easy walk from the bus station. Don't forget to ask about the elevator from the city-level. The hotel is on a hill and is quite a walk uphill if you're not aware of the elevator. It's locked and requires a code but you can call on the intercom when you arrive to have them open for you.
My wife and I are on a 5 week trip around central, eastern and northern Spain. When visiting bigger..or pricier...cities we like to stay a bit out of town in a 4 star place which is inexpensive and yet has great accessibility to its main city. The Hotel K10 in rural Urnieta is perfect: only 12 mins by train from San Sebastian (and a 10 min, delightful walk through nice country and a bit of the town to get to the station), plus regular and cheap train service. Highly recommended.
The property is clean and the bar off the lobby was really great. The location is a bit out of the city center, which was perfect for us as we had a car. Parking was easy in the street which was surprising as it was a holiday weekend. Staff super helpful with getting taxi's into the center. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing visit to San Sebastian.

An excellent little hotel next to cute cafes, it’s also a super easy walk from the bus and train stations that eliminates the need for a taxi. You’re probably wondering if you need to stay on the beach—you don’t! We enjoyed a nice little stroll through the streets & public squares each way, stopping for meals and shopping. Friendly staff. All-around good deal.
