This is a gem of a place. The price is reasonable, the location is terrific and the food! Wow. Think Michelin guide at non Michelin prices. The host is a delight and in all this is a really good find! Grab it if you can.
First of all, the location is just great. Right around the corner from the Musee Granet, only about 4 short blocks over from the Cours Mirabeau and oldest part of the city, less than 10 minutes (on foot) to the Fontaine de la Rotonde, and not far from the Hotel de Caumont museum. The street is very quiet, and has no cars - except taxis that can lower the access control posts. Just a block from the Rue d'Italie, with lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants.

The room was gorgeous and very historic. Website said the property has an elevator, which isn’t true for some parts. The lady at the front desk was nice enough to help haul my luggage up the 3 flights of stairs. It was a bit precarious bringing it all down to check out. The breakfast was absolutely lovely.
The room was small but cozy. It lacked a view, but the window provided good airflow. It fit my solo traveling needs perfectly. Good central location, clean, comfortable, friendly staff who spoke English, and good wifi. A bit noisy at night, but in fairness I left the window open.
Included with your room is access to the pool and other relaxation facilities. Great way to unwind after a long travel day. Easy access to Old Town and dining.
The A/C had been turned off for the season and the room was very hot. The noise from outside made it impossible to open the door for cool air. Had difficulty getting comfortable to sleep. We finally took out the comforter and used just the duvet.
We accidentally made our reservation for one day earlier than it should have been. The staff did everything possible to make the needed changes without complaint. They were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Parking was easy, beds were comfortable, area is perfect. Would highly recommend!!
The location is on a hill, away from traffic. The house is welcoming and completely remodeled. The swimming pool is heated, lounge chairs are comfortable, and a pergola is available if there is too much sun (see photo). The hosts are very friendly, and genuinely connecting to travelers. Continental breakfast is copious, and included melon de Cavaillon (the famous French version of Cantoloupe) and delicious home-made yogurt. This is a genuine retreat for anyone that needs to drop out and disconnect for a few days. The staff is friendly and helpful, though be advised, this is a working winery and they are as likely to be in the fields as in the office! Be sure to ask for a wine tasting. :-)
This location was right in the middle of everything! We loved being so close we didn’t have to use a car. The bed was comfortable and the bathtub was wonderful to soak in. If you enjoy being close to breakfast, coffee, pastries, shopping, dinner, late night dining and markets, this is the place for you. Did I mention this used to be a convent? Extremely interesting history.
