Dukes
8/10 Good
"A busy, well run establishment that has a striving restaurant. Rooms rather quirky and very clean however, no A/C or even a fan so stuffy and hot even with windows fully opened. First morning in at 0502 the glass recycling was collected from the large industrial wheelie bins. I think they heard that in Torquay! The second morning they were late coming at 0710. Try during the standard working day on that one."
The Imperial Torquay

"A beautiful building Room was spacious with a comfortable bed Enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi A nice walk in the gardens with great views Finally thank you to the staff who went over and beyond to make our stay special"
The Royal Lion Hotel

"Good position for town and beach."
The Grand Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great location close to station, coastal bus routes and with excellent sea views from the terrace and restaurant. Food really good - plenty of breakfast options and the restaurant meals were superb. Ask for tap water though - cost us £4.95 for bottle of still water! Pool lovely and warm. Room clean, comfortable and a good size. Really enjoyed our second stay here and would stay again."
The Devon Hotel

"A modern, clean hotel in a convenient location. My main complaint being that my bathroom was very basic. We enjoyed the food & the evening meal options were good. I would gladly stay here again, as it’s a good location to drive south to multiple beaches, although the hotel gym is absolutely tiny & was a bit of a letdown."
