Charming place and people Excellent food

Such well maintained Inn. Glad I booked here and would happily rebook next time I come to this location for work. Despite having a pub downstairs it was very quite and the rooms were well maintained. Only downside was the kitchen has now permanently closed. Which is a shame but we understand the owner's reasons and the local area has other food options you can use.

We were a little anxious about the stairs to our room, but when we saw the view it was worth it! But be aware, it is an old building and quirky, some low ceilings in bathrooms. Breakfast was great. Location is the best with bus stop nearby. Beds very comfy and room recently renovated. Had a delightful maid who put smiles on our faces (young with red hair, sorry don't have name, give her a raise!)

Modern B&B in a history house. The room was large enough with a comfy bed, modern bathroom/shower, and a mini fridge available. Reasonable walking distance to the restaurants, waterfront in Torquay.

Best English breakfast you’ve ever had! Matt and Lissanne are very welcoming- the pot of tea on arrival was really appreciated. Would definitely stay again 🙂

Travelling for work and I had the place to myself due to the pandemic. Felt a bit guilty for putting out the owner, Michelle, just for me but she was very welcoming. I travel quite a bit for work and when you stay in an independent guest house, it can be a bit hit and miss, but I felt immediately comfortable here. The room was well appointed and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was good and they have a well stocked ‘honesty’ bar with reasonable prices. Recommend

Vince and Irwin are incredibly friendly and helpful suggesting places, pubs, restaurants and attractions to visit that will make your stay that much better. Their accomodations are comfortable and breakfast is delicious. Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to friends.
