Inverardran was the first stop on our partial West Highland Way walk, so we didn't stay long, but the B&B was very lovely. Breakfast was delicious, with the porridge being the best we had our whole trip through Scotland! Inspired us to try to make it back home. Owner was very warm, helpful and lovely as well. We found out here that Highland water everywhere was going to be quite brown (but safe to drink), so that took a bit to adjust to.
A great choice for a luxurious stay in a gorgeous remote setting along the loch. The views of this modern property are divine, the common lounge was well decorated and a great place to observe the sunset. Our room was well appointed, with great bedding and an awesome bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub with jets! Excellent location. My girlfriend and I were convinced that we were at the best hotel in Oban. 2 minutes walk could have you at the wetherspoons by the waterfront among other fantastic restaurants. There were also two restaurants on site very nice and clean. The only minor nitpick were some dirty spots on the bathroom wall and a weird looking soiled paper towel or something in the nightstand drawer. It wasn’t a very big deal and I was able to overlook this since everything seemed to go off...
This was my favorite hostel I’ve stayed in so far! As a solo female traveler I felt the town and the hostel environment was incredibly safe. The facilities as a whole were very well maintained and clean! I liked how the dorm rooms had a sink and mirror separate from a sink in mirror in the toilet room as well as the shower being separate.
