A very nice small hotel full of character and in a beautiful setting and convenient to lyme regis. See and countryside views from the room. Lovely gardens. Friendly owners and staff went out of their way to make sure we had eventing we needed... the owners checked in with us at breakfast each morning. The 3 course table service breakfast was selectable from a menu. Classy but not pretentious.
The room was amazing!! We had a great time exploring around the town. The parking was a little tricky but being there on a weekend meant we were able to use the additional parking from the business next door.
Connor in his shed was particularly welcoming and thoughtful, we especially loved the private garden. Although a single night the Masons will remain a highlight of our trip to the UK.

We had a lovely stay at the Rock Port Inn. It is a lovely Inn with a pub and a restaurant with spectacular views of the cliffs, and ocean beaches. Located in the center of the Square, convenient for walks to quaint shoppes, local bars and restaurants, the Lyme Regis Museum (A+ Fossil Hunting), and the beautifully scenic Jurrasic Coast and beach! The Bay Tree House was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable; Gary was friendly and helpful; and the location is a short walk to town. I also walked to both of Thomas Hardy’s homes. Max Gate was a leisurely ten minutes away; the cottage was a longer walk, but the route through the Dorset countryside was indescribably beautiful.
We stayed here for the late summer bank holiday so the property was busy. That being said, the staff were friendly, available, and helpful.
