My husband and I stopped here on our return trip to Rome. The outside is very deceiving. However, once you enter the premises. The place is extremely clean and modern. Firm beds. Free parking

Nice rooms and clean and great location, 5 minutes walk to restaurants.
Best of all Roberto was super friendly and helpful and welcoming! He made coffee and gave us homemade sandwiches when we missed breakfast. He was extremely friendly and happy to help with our travel plans.
You feel well cared for at Palias! Definitely stay here if doing rafting or any national park activities.

This is an incredible hotel. The rooms are great, the mattresses are excellent, the restaurant is superb, the staff is exceptional (especially Pino). We would have loved to stay longer. It's also nicely situated close to the national park and only an hour or so from the phenomenal Maratea coastline. Highly recommend!
Our group of six had three rooms at this property and also had dinner at its fabulous restaurant. The proprietor, Joseph, was the highlight of our experience. He was welcoming and made us feel like we were in his home. We enjoyed a beverage in the hotel lounge and the homemade breakfast cakes and cookies with our expresso and cappechino in the morning. The dinner and the hotel were a nice break on our drive from Positano to Sicily.
Vittorio is an amazing super host. Can't thank him enough for his hospitality and making us feel right at home. He stayed in contact with us until we reached Scalea by train. He then picked us up at the station and drove us back when we left. His rooms are sparkling clean, spacious and have beautifully tiled, large bathrooms. Breakfast was the best which was cooked personally by Vittorio... scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, toast, croissants, ham and cheese AND the most delicious coffee any way you...
My family of 4 stayed in the mansard rooms. It was a perfect two bedroom set up with a private bath and sitting room for us to share. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was nice and cool compared to other places we stayed in Italy. The owner was nice and helpful. He recommended a delicious restaurant that we loved. He also offered for he and his wife to cook dinner and I wish we had stayed a second night to do that. The breakfast provided in the morning was simple...
