This was the most amazing place to stay! This was our favorite stop on a 30-day trip to Greece, Italy and Switzerland. The surrounding countryside is stunning. Our room had a Turkish Bath - what a fun experience. We were a couple of weeks in to our vacation, and we were ready for some down time. Having a private little garden, overlooking the Tuscan hillside was WONDERFUL. The dinner we had on site was one of the best of our entire trip. Breakfast in the morning was an incredible display...
This was a very special place for my husband and me. We felt relaxed and pampered in a perfect Italian countryside environment. A friend recommended it to me and she was spot on! The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were special, and the separate dining room made you feel like you were in the heart of Tuscany....because you are! You are 2 miles from downtown Montelpulciano, 40 min from Montalcino, 40 from Sienna, and close to the most wonderful vineyards. We ate and drank our way through...
My husband and I spent one night at Residenza dei Ricci last weekend and cannot wait to return. It is ideally situated for exploring Chiusi and the surrounding area.
Our short time spent under the care of Donatella and Raffaele was one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. They are talented, congenial and generous hosts. The residenza is beautifully appointed with all the amenities one would expect at a luxury hotel -- combined with all the warmth one feels while staying at the home...
Wonderful place to stay in the most charming town in Tuscany! Spacious and beautifully appointed room with warm and gracious hospitality and they serve a delicious breakfast. Only we we had stayed 2 nights.
Our stay at Podere La Rocca was fabulous! The property is located in the rolling Tuscan hills just outside Montepulciano. The property is a working farm and vineyard with an onsite restaurant and pool. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was huge with a new jetted tub. We stayed on the second floor in a building with a large communal room with a fireplace. On the first floor of the same building was a rec room with a pool table. What made the stay was our experience at the...
Our experience at Palazzo Nobile di Santa Donato exceeded our expectations. The photos show how lovely the inn is, but they cannot capture the warmth and the history of the Palazzo. Staying there felt as if we were on the inside of a piece of art. A delicious, generous breakfast was served in a beautiful room overlooking the Tuscan hills
The hostess was gracious and willing to provide us with information and her time.
We would highly recommend this place for anyone ... and we can't wait...
I was in room 6 on the top floor, which was a climb, but was rewarded with perhaps the most beautiful view ever - the valley, the vinyards - it was worth the climb.
If you’re looking for the quintessential Tuscan experience, you’ve found the right place to stay. Not only is the property beautiful, but it’s in the perfect location and the host is absolutely amazing. She provided us with outstanding recommendations for local eateries, attractions, shops, and was accessible any time we had a question or needed anything. The room was delightful, the beds were comfortable, and the amenities were very useful. Staying at the Palazzo Danesi made our experience so...
I was looking for a hotel to stay in for 2 days that was between Rome and Florence. Montepuliano was perfect. This turned out to be a fabulous choice. It is up on a hill with beautiful views and even though it is in the country, our GPS took us right there. Our jr suites were perfect for a Mom and one kid and two other young adult kids. We had a nice pizza in the restaurant that night and the breakfasts are included in the price of the rooms. Breakfast on the terrace looking at the...
Hotel is small, old and out-of-the-way but was in a beautiful Tuscan setting with a beautiful view from our balcony. There was a very reasonable restaurant across the street. The room was an excellent value for the money. The owner even gave us a ride to the train station when our early morning taxi failed to show up.
