It was a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was exceptional. Better than that was the food. A great complimentary breakfast, and a fantastic dinner that I would normally expect to pay much more for. I would gladly go back. Incredible views driving up the mountain to the hotel's location as well.
Stayed here for one night. Marlene is so welcoming and warm. I don’t speak Italian and she doesn’t speak English or Spanish, but we managed to communicate wonderfully. Bedroom is a bit dated (at least ours) but it’s spotless and extremely clean - very important for me. Location is beautiful and their pizza restaurant and coffee is really good. Loved the stay. This hotel is a GEM! We loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The rooms were comfortable and the views from the 2-bedroom units were amazing! We spent hours in the morning just enjoying the view. The amenities were fantastic. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.
We had a wonderful time at Förstlerhof. After a day of hiking we enjoyed the Spa area of the hotel. The restaurant and staff is also really nice.

A beautiful little hotel nestled in a rustic Alpine town. Charming lobby, bar and restaurant. Gracious friendly staff...family owned and operated. Provided us with very courteous service with personal attention and help with tourist information and restaurants. A place we will certainly hope to stay in the next time we return to the Merano area.
We had an amazing time. The location was fabulous. The staff and hotel were amazing. We there during August and it was VERY hot in the towns. However, being up at 1500M meant that we were able to sleep and be cooler at night. We will definitely got back!
The hotel is one of the finest designed that we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The room design and the views are exquisite; the beds were perfect and the quality of all the spaces beautiful. In addition the staff were a joy and the breakfast superb.
As a side note, my wife and are both architects and have only one before been so effusive in the praise of a hotel.
