Very attentive owners who run the place and are very knowledgeable with recommendations to local attractions. Very clean & nice little suite with all needed amenities and resonably priced in Israeli hotel standards. Very good value for cost in Jerusalem. Honers serve a very nice Israeli breakfast daily.

The building has stairs that would be challenging if you had problems walking or climbing, but they warn about this in their website

This was perfect in every way. It was located right in the Artist Colony with the winding roads and historic stone buildings. The owner, Sharon, was there to meet us and show us the room. Everything seemed very new and clean. Balcony overlooking a mountainous view. Private bath and great shower. The beds were marvelous and we slept right through. It was a quiet neighborhood and restaurants within a short walk.

We had a fabulous stay at The Way Inn in Safed! The hotel is a beautiful oasis: charming, relaxing, clean, comfortable, lovely interiors, every detail attended to, with a great location close to everything interesting. my 4th trip to Jerusalem since 2013. First time I stayed at other than King David. Loved Herbert Samuel (HS). Great staff, nice new rooms, good breakfast. All you need. HS is new and in the center of everything and much nicer rooms than King David. Also an easy walk to Old City. I recommend this hotel to friends - I will stay here again.

I've stayed at this hotel twice when I've gone to Ben-Gurion airport . I love the staff the rooms and they have every service you want for a short stay hotel. Wi-Fi and a really delicious fresh breakfast. They even boxed A breakfast up for me when I have a really early flight. It feels very safe and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it and I would go back again when I'm there if I need a hotel near the airport. The only negative is it's an odd location that some taxi drivers did not...

Good breakfast, nice room, easy with car

One thing that would move this hotel up on the scale was the power in the room. When you leave, the motion detector shuts the air off and some of the outlets. There is a work around for this problem, but then you have to decline housekeeping service. Other than that, I like it there and would stay there again. Nearly everyone was very nice and helpful.

First -- when you get to what seems to be the right address, look for the green door and push inwards (ignore the handle that looks like you should pull it open). This is essentially a rooming house in the religious Geula neighborhood, with basic and very comfortable amenities and touches of artistic flair in all of the public rooms. I loved my stay. The staff were tremendously friendly and accommodating, the beds comfortable and the furniture was homey albeit lived-in. Shower water pressure...

Walking distance to the beach and shopping. Easy access to transportation

Even though we arrived early, the staff accommodated our luggage, and gave us beach towels, access to the gym and food recommendations while we waited. Once in our room, they easily handled a room upgrade, which we did to allow room for an overnight guest. Service was always quick with a smile. They even had Thanksgiving treats in the lobby.
