"It’s a house near the national museum in an area with many embassies. We arrived during cyclone ditmah so there were lots of fallen trees and water but still found it walkable. Staff were friendly and able to arrange tuktuk ride. Breakfast was our first experience of Sri Lankan food and was serviceable in retrospect. There are many cafes nearby. "

"My second stay. Great. Felt like home. International outlets. Comfortable, clean beds. Spacious rooms. No weird smells, mostly. Good furniture. Restaurant on the roof. No eating in the rooms. Wonderful staff all around! Pretty good, if your first stop in Sri Lanka."
