It's a historic hotel, but has been carefully renovated and modernized. Loved the included dinner in addition to breakfast. Only negative was the ongoing railroad improvements construction across the street, but hopefully that will be concluded soon.
Upon driving up to the hotel, I was worried about what I saw. But once inside the hotel, it was great! Nice, big room. Good breakfast. Very nice staff & helpful. Everything about the stay & location was great!
The hotel seems large and a bit of a maze, but we liked our room, especially with a little balcony to look over the river. The hotel is very nicely situated, right by the river with plenty of walking opportunities nearby. The breakfast had a huge variety as well. The fitness center was a bit cramped unfortunately with limited though decent equipment. Make sure to pre-book parking if needed, though we used an offsite lot and that worked fine. The spa seemed to be busy but we weren’t able to check...
