Walking distance to city center is more than 1 mile. There are buses available if you need them. Overall, it was a great experience.

I have been to Maastricht several times in the past and stayed in different hotels. This is the best one I stayed so far and is a very good value. First, it is close to the station. True, it is not in the old part of the city but the proximity to the station is very convenient. Drop off your bag and go. The old town is only 5 minuets away and on your way you see (and can stop) old bakeries and other interesting shops. The room was clean and I loved the amenities. “We work” inspired common area...
Right from the start the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. My room #3 was what all hotel rooms aspire to be - large, comfortable and great bathroom with spa tub. Extremely quiet and comfortable bed as well. Nice welcome with free appetizer. Would highly recommend staying there!
As for me as a solo traveler this hotel was perfect for me.. My room was on the 1st floor.. A/C worked great, and the bed was comfortable.. The shower was great and breakfast was good.. Its an older hotel so the halls have old carpet.. But the room had new windows and could hear nothing from outside.. Parking garage across street at train station.. And plenty of food options all around.. I will stay here again next time I come..
