Everything was perfect from start to finish. We got exactly the room that we booked the staff from check into the staff in the gift shops, and in the dining area were friendly and accommodating and made you feel right at home! We did just keep commenting on how friendly everybody was. Of course our room was beautiful the view was breathtaking. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The food was fantastic. My husband had the western omelette and I had the Greek on blood but I did not want feta cheese...
I made a mistake on my check out date. And they had no problems with me extending my stay one more night. Everyone that I talked to was friendly and helpful.

We came up to the lodge at Big Medows in Shenandoah National Park in order to view the Perseid Meteor shower. The lodge and the food were wonderful and the meteor shower was out of this world.
