"I think I was quite lucky on this booking. It was Sunday in the off-season so the price was very good. Half board was even better. The room was outstanding. The entrance, lobby, pool and lounging area were all excellent. Both the buffet service dinner and the breakfast were superb. This is such a great hotel. I really couldn’t have improved anything."

"We were on first fooor in room 103 and I heard some noise from cars that disturbed my sleep - so if you’re a light sleeper like me not ideal. Juliette balconies quite low so not ideal if you have young children from a safety perspective. Accommodation clean, modern and comfortable. Smart TV. Ideal for our one night stay. Short walk from Centro Alameda train station and to coach station. Near historic centre too."

"The hotel is badly neglected. Hallway ceiling is falling apart, room and bathroom smelled like mildew. Linens have seen better days. We had 2 rooms and both rooms had the same mildew issue. Staff is supper friendly and helpful. The restaurant is quite good and the location is great. It is just unfortunate that they have not renovated the rooms and hallways."

"Super quaint and charming boutique hotel! Excellent guest support, beautifully appointed hotel and room, unlimited coffee and water, two amazing common areas - one indoor and one outdoor, and awesome location. Only drawback for me was the tub/shower. You had to step quite high to enter and it was a bit tricky esp as I recently had knee surgery. I suspect it could be tricky for others too. "
