We had an amazing stay for 2 nights at the hotel . The staff were very friendly , the room was clean and it had the best view ever . The food was also good , everything about the hotel is really nice , i totally recommend it .

I thought the staff was great, but this area and location is a bit rough, so you may face some cold nights and lack some creature comforts. I stayed 4 nights, which may have been two too many as there really wasn’t a whole lot to do at night. Still the day hiking was nice and the hotel restaurant was nice.

Our stay at the Peaceful cottage was a shining highlight of our trip. The food, the staff, and the view are all worth it.

Very nice resort like hotel, great food options, eating space, and rooms. A lot of great views from the mountain top and even from the hotel rooms with balcony's (you can see the sunrise with the mountains like Everest even from there)

From the time I arrived, I felt comfortable. Security was in the parking lot to ensure the property was secure and people not staying at the hotel were escorted away. The Nepali culture intertwined with eminent hospitality at the Basera Boutique Hotel. I highly recommend this as the first hotel of your stay in Kathmandu, as you recover from jetlag. Everything about it is what you would expect at a Marriott anywhere else in the world except for the concierge staff. The excellent concierge staff certainly justified the 5th star.

If I'm in Kathmandu, I'm staying at the Nomad. Great people, great service, great rooms, and great food. You can't go wrong here. I only wish that they had a pool to make the place perfect.
