Review: We were there for a conference at The Otsaga Hotel. We wanted something a little more cost effective. This lovely little hotel is rustic, but clean. We had hot water, heat, and THE ENTIRE PLACE to ourselves. Talk about peaceful! The proprietor was helpful, answered her phone, and this place is only a 14 minute drive to Cooperstown.
Room and Hotel were clean, no bugs sighted. Clean white sheets. A/C works fine. Hotel’s in a quiet space. The smell of smoke is strong in certain areas of the hotel. Shower was very slow in rising to hot temperatures. TV connected fast and easy to my PS5, that alone makes the room 5 stars.

I love the Hotel Utica! From the wonderful, exceptional staff to the beautiful lobby, to the wonderful views of the city from the windows. The staff there is so helpful and friendly, everyone takes pride in working there. The lady who cooks the buffet breakfast makes different things every day. And just looking at the beauty of the architecture will amaze you. You could not find artists to create something like this hotel today.

Given that it was later in the season, I was able to take advantage of a special autumn rate offered by the hotel which included the breakfast buffet, which was great. We found this Inn by Google. Later in the day, tired of driving. Looking for a pretty, inexpensive place to stay. Found it here. Not sure why people would pay 50% more to stay in Cooperstown.
Best of all was the free canoes which we used prior to checking out. If I were to come back to this area I would certainly stay more...
Very convenient to Glimmerglass and Cooperstown. Very clean and well-kept. On the Main Street, but quiet. A little more expensive than I would have liked, but it is the peak season (July). We would definitely stay here again.
