The hotel in central to just about everything: no need to take mass transit at all. Just steps away are wonderful cafes and all the sights. The rooms are beautifully Swedish in style, clean and comfortable. I was in a single room, albeit small it was perfect! Breakfast was a great traditional smorgasbord and the staff could not be more accommodating in taking coffee orders. We stayed at Hotel Skeppsholmen for the nights in May 2024. It was unseasonably warm outside, but the air-conditioned room was always nice and cool. The hotel's location is convenient to get around Stockholm, yet tranquil and quiet. The island of Skeppsholem has the Modern Museum, the Toy Museum, and a few restaurants. Short stopover during family vacation in Stockholm. Convenient, walkable location with lots of shops and amenities. Quick access to Central Station. Beautiful design in hotel and room. Quiet, comfortable for our family of four. Lovely breakfast with lots of variety and allergy-friendly, healthy options. Staff at welcome center were very kind and helpful. Spa was refreshing after a long day of walking and exploration. Would visit again and highly recommend.
