The location is everything as it is 1 street over from main street. The room was a nice size with 2 double beds and was clean with a large private balcony overlooking the street. The room had a mini fridge, a TV with limited cable, a telephone, great air conditioning and lighting. The bathroom was small with a very small and low toilet, low water pressure and a very small shower head, but the water temperature was good. Also limited counter space. The beds were very uncomfortable , uneven And...
So much to love. Phil was the best host ever. Tasteful decor in the room, and eco-friendly amenities in the bathroom. Delicious, real food for breakfast. And it even has goats! We've been coming to the Cape forever and this was the best place we've ever stayed.
Hope to be back soon.
My first time there. Would definitely come back again. Everyone was very nice. Lovely beach that's nice to walk or to sit by in the evening in the chairs.
My ONLY complaint is the parking. They charged me an additional $50/night for parking. I hate when places pull this type of stunt. I'm already paying nearly $900/night to stay there and at check-in they do this. NOT COOL!!!
You know it when you stay at a place the owner loves and cares for — the Doryman is that kind of place. It’s not a new facility — newness they cannot provide. But the owner and staff clearly care about the property and their guests. If you appreciate old-fashioned hospitality, stay here.
Since I grew up in the Boston area and know this part of the Cape, I was looking for older, economical property within easy walk to Main Street and Harbor. I was pleased to find it with a clean, remodeled sort of homey style with very friendly & helpful afternoon desk guy, Tom. Didn't expect to find little efficiency kitchen nicely equipped for cooking & eating in -- real dishes & glasses plus wine glasses too.
No noise from street traffic, which other properties in this area have. But some...
No breakfast. Very clean & quiet. Front desk very helpful. I had to ask for the ironing board and the blow dryer. Other than that, everything was perfect great location close to everything within walking distance to Main St stores.
Super nice people, owners are on site making it happen every day. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, location is in the middle of the downtown area with a short walk to almost anywhere. I would stay here again.
Such a great relaxing time - place is so welcoming , comfy , quiet , conveint to main street , stores , beaches.
Food is amazing ! Let me mention again the food is so so good.
I recommend you book a nigth or two.
We will def be going back
Our 2 queen bed room was very spacious and clean. The balcony view overlooking the harbor was very nice. The property has ample parking with easy room access and is very centrally located. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.
Great stay in Hyannis, Cape Cod! Rented 3 rooms at Cape Cod Harbor House. Very clean, comfortable, quaint rooms. It’s an older hotel with great service! The owner Raj was a pleasure to work with! Free breakfast was a nice start to our day. Would definitely stay here again!
Staff was very friendly, Alex at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, room was very clean and nice looking, and the BATHTUB. The bathtub was a highlight we weren't expecting, huge and amazing literally big enough for two adults to relax in. A 5 minute walk from a huge liquor store, a drugstore, and a short walk to the water and many cool bars and restaurants.
