So, we were very impressed by the overall experience, with two caveats. Before I get to those, I want to complement management for good rooms at a fair price (lower than the nearby competition). My room was on the first floor which is actually the second floor. oh and they have an elovator which helped out since my mom cant get around as good as she used too. What a great view of the beach even though the road is in front of beach when you are inside the room all you see is ocean view, standing of course.but then you can go outside and sit on your rocking chair and enjoy the ocean and watch the waves roll in .its a great value for such a nice view.Plus the guys in the office were great...

Felt the need to leave a review after some of the negative ones I read. This is a no frills hotel, in which the carpet and other things are a bit outdated. It was cheap, very clean, the bed was comfortable, and what led to me booking it was the indoor pool and mini fridge and microwave in each room. I’ve stayed worse places in Maine for more money and was overall happy with the stay. The staff aren’t overly friendly but not rude. It’s in a good location and parking was easy. Will stay here again...

Went to Ogunquit for a weekend getaway. The Grand Hotel was a quaint and charming place. Building is older so we could hear when people were talking (or snoring) next door. Rooms come equipped with white noise machines which helps reduce the exterior noise. The location can't be beat as it's locating almost perfectly between Perkins Cove and "the strip" in town. We would definitely stay there again.
