The property and ameneties were amazing. Went swimming, played basketball. Small putting area. Great gym facility. Breakfast was great. What a bang for your buck. Incredibly clean and really up to date.
We traveled with 3 family groups and the entire party very much enjoyed our visit at The Cambria. The pool is very inviting and clean. The rooms are very spacious. The bathrooms are sparkling clean and great space to spread out. Beds are comfortable and pillows are firm and supportive. Ashley, our bartender, was awesome! She took her time with our big party and was so much fun. She clued us into our next stop in Fredricksburg. The food was fantastic! For a hotel restaurant you never know the...
Room was nice and clean and already set to cold. Checking in was easy and fast because of the friendly staff.
We didn't use any amenities, bar or breakfast.
Fair warning, there is a bar next door that features local bands and the music is horrendous for about 3 or 4 hours on Friday and Saturday nights. We did get the word that they would shut it down at 11 PM and they definitely did but be aware if you are expecting quiet time between the hours of 7 PM and 11 PM you can forget it unless you have a room on the other side of the building. It may be quieter on the other side, so I would request to stay on opposite side of that bar and grill.
Super nice and spacious hotel. Rooms were clean, I particularly loved the mostly no-carpet rooms. Breakfast was great, pool area was nice. About 11 minutes from the Capital and Lady Bird Lake, with plenty of places to eat around. Parking lot was just a few steps away from hotel, fee was reasonable for the area. Overall great hotel, I will definitely recommend and will stay here again.
A great option for airport travel. Very helpful staff who gave us great advice on arriving to the airport extra early due to the construction. Also appreciate the pride CJ the shuttle driver takes in his job.
Right on the river walk within walking distance to Rainey Street restaurants, boat rentals, etc. The breakfast is great too. I’ve stayed here many times - highly recommend .
