The hotel provided everything you could possibly need. Breakfasts were delicious. Room was comfortable. Location is 2 blocks from Hotel del Coronado and the beach.
The first room they checked us into had an AC that didn’t work so we had to switch rooms. The next room had a clogged toilet and no hot water in the shower.
We won’t be coming back here.
the room was clean but when i requested to be cleaned after a few days in, they did not do it and the lady at the desk was rude to me. the hotel is on orange ave. and too noisy for my taste. the pool looked dirty and the help at the desk was not existing.
Our second stay at Crown City Inn was just as wonderful as the first! The atmosphere is great, especially sitting outside for a delicious breakfast at the on-site cafe. They provide excellent perks like free bicycle rentals to explore the town, plus beach chairs, boogie boards, and fresh towels for the beach. We love this place and will absolutely be back!
This hotel was in a great location, just a short walk to see the San Diego skyline. It is a little bit older in decor, but the room was clean and quiet. The staff was always helpful. Breakfast was good with a very nice selection. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
This was our first visit to this resort and we found it to be a very enjoyable experience. Our room was very clean as well as the whole resort. The staff was very accommodating and eateries provided good quality food. The only negative was we found the gym to be somewhat small for such a large resort. Also the pool area would fill up really quickly, so finding a chair was a bit challenging at times.
Everyone was very helpful with check in. Great location and within walking distance to the beach and wonderful restaurants. I would suggest walking to some of the other breakfast restaurants in the area…the breakfast offered at the hotel was pretty much the three star level one would see at a three star hotel. Try Tartine for breakfast!!
If you are looking for an idyllic ocean side location that is luxurious, has incredible amenities and so much to do — this is the place. Though, if you want a quiet, restful place to rejuvenate, this is the place as well. The staff, especially Alyssa and Sasha, are friendly, professional and so eager to make your stay extraordinary in every way possible.
The room we got was great but check in/out swimming pool and breakfast was to be accessed from across the street.across the street from primary location and to top that it's a very busy street. Coronado Inn and Hotels.com need more clear upfront communication so that it can be shared with customers. For example, in description it said free parking but if you get there late there is no assigned space for the car space. Handicap area is very limited
