"Loved this character-ful property. More a guest house than a hotel because it has very limited services, but lovely and historic. Really helpful and cheerful staff, though desk hours were a bit erratic. They said the desk runs to 1pm but some days it was later. Our first night it rained heavily and the room filled with an overpowering musty smell, and we worried, but it subsided the next day and was fine again. So not sure what happened there. The property is very quiet and peaceful. Guests seemed to respect the atmosphere. Tip: the hotel is at the very western edge of Old San Juan so you will add a LOT of time in taxis getting around, because traffic gets really bad in the area and they randomly close a key access road sometimes. We found it was easier and far cheaper to walk 5 mins east to bigger roads and get picked up/dropped off there (walking 5 mins to a big road where the one way traffic is going your intended direction can save you many times that in taxis). "

"Ok stay. Rooms were kind of older but functional. Breakfast was the same everyday, and staff were not friendly. Housekeeping did a really good job though. Resort activities were limited and the drag racing place cost 100+ dollars to go 2 mph. No refunds provided fyi. I would not recommend this Embassy in comparison to the one in Isla Verde that one is way more lively and clean. "

"I booked and paid thru Hotels.com show the guy the receipt yet he still charged me a second time. He told us not to worry, He will take care of it. Went back home and found the charge on my credit card bill"

"AirCo was good, property is very roomy. The location of the hotel is excellent: next to the square of Cayey, with several restaurants and bars. The staff is excellent, and they will help to improve a stay by listening and acting upon feedback."
