Villa Quieta in Essaouira was definitely one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed. When you enter you are greeted with Moroccan beauty from all angles. The staff was also top notch, going above and beyond for our satisfaction. We didn't even arrive there until about 4 am, and there was someone up waiting for us so that we could get right in and get to bed upon arrival. Breakfast is delicious and served in their gorgeous dining area. The grounds are lovely with a beautiful in-ground pool...
The Riad was clearly taken care of really well. The owners have great taste and pride and make every effort to please their guests.
The breakfasts were wonderful and the staff were great.
We loved our stay here….
Loved the attentive, lovely staff and excellent service, great location, rooftop pool and lunch area, beautiful courtyard. Proper old fashioned hotel in the best sense. Great breakfast, nice big rooms.
The Riad was beautiful. Very luxurious. The staff was top notch. Met the owner. Very upscale. Loved my room. It was like a Four Seasons. Loved the basket of Moroccan shoes to wear during the stay. The rooftop was beautiful and had everything to make it comfortable. I had dinner at Riad one evening. The very best monkfish. This Riad was a highlight of my stay in Morocco. Thank you so much.
Amazing experience. The spa was so peaceful best massage of my life. Loved the rooftop to hang out. My cousin and I had the best experience with the most friendly staff. Will stay again.
My wife and I absolutely loved this riad/hotel!! The hospitality and service is remarkable. All of the workers are so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner is delicious. Lastly, the ocean view from our hotel room was surreal and like a dream. We loved falling asleep to the ocean waves at night. The hotel has so much charm and is one of my all time favorite hotels and that’s coming from a world traveler who has been to a lot of hotels. My wife and I even went to the Atlas Mountains...
The location was great. It was easy to reach and conveniently located. The staff was wonderful, friendly and efficient. They provided an ample breakfast, served wherever we preferred to eat. Unfortunately, the room and especially the shower were smaller than expected, and there was a construction site just outside our window that often worked late into the night. Overall, it was a positive experience.
I had been staying at a different riad in Essauoira but decided to switch to Dar al Bahar and I am so glad I did. It is a lovely riad located on a cliff above the ocean. Some rooms have ocean views, mine did not but I would leave my windows open so that I could smell and hear the ocean. It has a spectacular roof off terrace where a lovey breakfast is served. The staff is very nice and helpful. It is located on the northern side of the medina which I preferred. There are a number of good...
Ocean vogabond is amazing place to stay Médina is only 5 minutes walking !!! The reception guy “Nordin” is very very helpful he told us everything we needed to know about Essaouira the smile doesn’t go from his face 😃 The Médina is full with a lot of restaurants to eat , stuff are so amazing And helpful , I highly recommend this place to anyone wants to visit Essaouira .
The breakfast was fresh and delicious overlooking the ocean on the 4th floor. The hotel is really clean and less than 1 year old. The room was spacious and felt more like an apartment. Only downside is it's about a 1.5 mile walk to the medina/souq but it's only a few minute walk to the beach. It's such a beautiful and relaxing place. I would stay here again when i come back to Essaouira.
Our stay was incredible. The staff were warm and helpful. The riad was clean and comfortable with wonderful amenities - like a fantastic breakfast on a beautiful rooftop patio and a spa on site - and beautiful art and decor. It was a true joy. Please note cars can’t get to the Riad so you need to arrange a cart to take your bags (paid) or walk with your luggage ~ 8 minutes from the drop off at city walls.
Location is excellent, near everything you need, beach, restaurants …. The place is like new with all recent taste-full renovation. Juliette and Bat the receptionists were very kind and informative. We definitely will stay in here next time we are in Essaouria
