Loved being able to snorkel off our own deck - did a premium overwater bungalow for 2 days and private soaking pool bungalow for 1 day. It was fun to experience both types of rooms. "Clean room. Air conditioning in bedroom but good enough for the rest of rooms. Next to great beach. Bugs at night got in covered walls. Saw them when came back from dinner. We spent some time wiping down the walls to rid them. On bed too. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants. We did not have a car and we didn’t cook or use the kitchen. Not fancy but very adequate. Staff friendly."

"The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!"
