"The apartment was spotless, the view from the room was beautiful. The pub interior was like it was straight from medieval times. Lovely little village location. Had a fab time, would definitely stay again"

"I loved Everything and Everyone at your Hotel. From the reception to the Wait and Bar staff. The Housekeeping and Grounds. My little Cottage was Perfect. Had Everything I needed The Pub was awesome. Breakfast a big plus. If Ever I heeded Anything I just had to ask and I received it. Location was Perfect too. I would come back anytime and stay with You. Thank You."

"Had a really good stay at The Black Swan Inn. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the pub served great food and drinks. It's in a quiet, beautiful location in Fearby and makes a solid base for exploring the local area. No complaints at all—would happily stay here again."

"Great location, some decor a bit ‘tired’ but nice room with updated en- suite. Really good value for money, good breakfast and they put my bike inside overnight. Wi - fi in the room not good enough to watch streaming sport so I went to another pub to watch athletics online. Quiet location."

"Parking, registering, staff excellent. Fabulous superior room complete with its own shower room and kitchen with fridge, hob and oven etc. Door into room plus one which opened on to the front lawn. Staff kindly set up chairs and a table so we could sit outside to enjoy the view. Breakfast wasn't as good as previous visits.Items either over and/or undercooked( full english). A variety of other options were available. "

"A very convenient and dog friendly place to stay during our travels. A dog bed, treats, water bowl and poo bags were provided for our dogs, and although there was road noise from our road-facing room, it didn't prevent us from having a good night's sleep. The breakfast hamper in the morning was delicious and allowed us to leave when we liked. The use of the two rear fields to walk the dog was very handy. We also enjoyed our evening meal and appreciated the friendly staff. Would recommend."
