This hotel is clean and cozy and perfectly situated to visit old town in Melk, including the abbey. So fun to step out the door onto a charming street full of cafes and shops. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the free breakfast buffet is absolutely fantastic! I appreciate that the windows in the rooms open fully and also the fun little jars of candy at the checkout desk and restaurant for guests to sample. Tasty!
A nice hotel, right by the train station. Possibly a bit overpriced. I enjoyed the terrace, although other guests were smoking right near by and it filled our room and drove us off :-/ Otherwise a good stay.
Great place to stay, extremelly clean, well arranged, friendly staff and ready to help. Very good restaurant, not too many options but they are changing the menu completelly on a daily basis! So for sure you will find someting new each time when you'll attend. The food quality is very good, starting from breakfast to dinner. Room impecably clean, everything very well maintained. Very warm welcoming after several hours of driving. They're very kind in preparing us a fantastic dinner, though we almost arrived at the time kitchen was closing.
On amenities, everything seemed new and very well maintained. Both room and bathroom had good space; bed was very comfortable and we had a great view.
Finally, its the perfect destination if you want to relax and be pampered a bit!
This hotel was truly stunning with views out our window of the Danube. The staff at Reception was warm and accommodating, making us feel comfortable and cared for. BUT the restaurant staff, though attentive, were cold and off-putting. Also we were rather disturbed on our 2nd day to realize that a floor lamp was removed from our room. When we asked about it, we received no reason as to why or when this occurred. It made us feel somewhat insecure about our safety and privacy.
