What a special place in a unique setting close to Mont St. Michel! You will be pleasantly surprised upon entering La Petit Moulin Rouge - the warm hospitality of the owner, the coziness of the room and the delicious breakfast made us feel extra special.

The setting and location of this property is hard to beat. If you walk out the backdoor, you find a path that leads you to Mont St Michel. If you walk out the front door, you can enjoy a garden space with tables and chairs to relax. We would stay here again!

We were here in the shoulder season and we had to check in at a sister hotel nearby. Nice breakfast on site. NO elevator. It had a 3rd floor american way of counting.

We only stayed one night at the Chateau, so we didn't have as much time as we would have liked to explore the grounds. The little that we were able to see was beautiful and such a needed break from the chaos of Paris. The hosts were helpful and very kind. The breakfast in the morning was delightful. This is a wonderful castle that I highly recommend, 1000%! The attentions of its manager and receptionist, the marvelous room, the breakfast (note: it's not included in the price - Hotels.com provides misleading information). Everything there is elegant and cozy. It was a marvelous experience!

Within the budget. We walk to the train station to hop in the bus ($3 each) to go to the entrance site of the Abbey, then hop in a free shuttle bus to go to the Abbey or you can walk from here.

It exceeded our expectations in every way. We were graciously welcomed into Benedict‘s home. The orientation to the room covered everything we needed to know. The Wi-Fi was fast, the bed was so comfortable and everything was spotless. Every convenience, including bottled water, provided for us. Breakfast was superb. Included yogurt, cereal, croissant, fresh fruit, eggs, cooked to preference, cheese, coffee, tea, juice. It was perfect. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Nice, clean, comfortable room, good check-in experience. The direct access to the ramparts was a big bonus. The only negative was a misleading email from the hotel regarding advance notice of arrival time which caused unnecessary stress.
