Marathon Beach Hotel was wonderful! They have done a lovely job renovating and old standard into a stylish, modern and welcoming shelter in the current Greek storm. The design of the renovation is fresh and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and attentive and the breakfast was excellent. And I can't forget the large, lovely (salt water❤️❤️❤️) pool! I would (and already have) recommend it to a friend. The hotel is in a great area of Nea Makri, with nice shops, a beautiful port and lively...

Nice, clean, value for money property right on the beach. Amazing view from the balcony, great to sleep to the sound of the waves. Other nice beaches also available nearby and many dining options at very reasonable prices. Will definitely visit again!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay the entire 4 days we were there for. The hotel staff were absolutely amazing, particularly the receptionist, Evi, who while we were staying there she was very helpful, hospitable, etc. She was absolutely amazing and we appreciate everything about her and hope to stay at this property again soon. We stayed 3 nights and we Really enjoyed staying there with the kids and they really loved it. The staff was helpful and always polite. The rooms where big with a good size balcony that you could enjoy the views. If you like walking just 15-20 walking from the hotel there is Eretria town and has everything you need from restaurants coffee and some shopping. We will definitely go back.
Chose because they provided airport transportation for our night in Athens. Lovely setting especially with room looking to the sea. Great food in the restaurant. Lovely seaside walking in the evening.
