We were the first guest ever to arrive at the resort on the adult side and they treated us like celebrities. I really enjoyed the food the food was bomb and yes I am black. I loved the buffet when I went home I missed the buffet that’s the best part and everything is all inclusive. The resort itself is beautiful very modern and clean and our room was spacious enough for 2 people. The customer service was the best I ever had they really strived to make our birthdays special. We had a little...
Anyone who is looking for a great resort with impeccable service should stay here. We stayed at this hotel for 8 days in mid-January 2017 and couldn't have been more pleased. Rooms are fantastic as they all have balconies and are ocean view. We have been all over the Caribbean and I would rate the Cliff as one of the top resorts I have been too. If you want to ocean swim, they have low and high cliffs to jump off and ladders into the ocean if you prefer to ease in. If you want to lounge...
Palms on the beach for sun cover, Quiet, Beautiful gardens, Beautiful and friendly staff, very polite, and a beach that was clean with lots of room, pool was excellent with a walkway for elderly or disabled and local food options within a short walking distance gives this place an a+, Friday night food with live reggae at Marleys next door also was a big plus. This is by far the spot and I have been to a lot in Negril. I will call this beach spot home for the duration of my Jamaica travels. To...
Loved it. Worth every penny. Locals are friendly, it’s like a part of the island to yourself. A must do if you aren’t a fan of resorts. Massage was one of the best I’ve had and I’m a massage therapist. When I say clean, I mean clean. Not a dust particle in sight, just a lovely experience from the moment we touched down.
Huge property with just about everything you could possibly want. Amazing pool is centerpiece of resort. Great service. Beautiful location. OK food. Slow wifi.
I go to Jamaica almost every year and stay at different resorts. I find this resort to be great for the price. They even accommodated me to a room on the ground level because I have trouble with stairs. All the staff were pleasant and always asked if they could help you in anyway. The food was good and I know some reviews state differently. You have to realize people come from all over the world and trying to please everyone would be impossible. I know tipping is not mandatory but they work so...
Our second visit to Idle Awhile, and our first time in a Garden View unit. There are only 8 of these, four per floor. The beachfront building contains 4 identical suites, 2 per floor. Unit 102 (our garden) was a ground floor unit and provided some amount of privacy as we used the lanai extensively. 103 and the 4 upstairs units also offer privacy on the lanais.
We were surprised that the garden units were not equipped with a coffeemaker. At $7/half pot, we purchased a used coffeemaker in town...
This was our first time in Jamaica. Friends told us about the Negril Treehouse and we absolutely loved it. The rooms were clean, with great tv's (not that you need one but Ohio State championship was that week and we got to watch in room or in the lobby on a big screen). The restaurant and beach bar were very good (just don't expect service like in states, they are on Jamaican time, slow or slower) but staff and bartenders were all very pleasant. We booked next year on the third day in.
We loved our stay at Beach House Condos and were sad to leave. We booked the Lower Jungle Room and both bedrooms were larger than pictured. The kitchen and living room area was also larger than I expected. The beach was just a few short steps away. The staff was extremely helpful with getting transportation, food recommendations, etc. There is an on-site masseuse which I sincerely regret not trying out. Their on-site restaurant has lots of variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner and room...
First off the staff Is first rate... They helped me in so many ways...from booking a scooter from gas.. To calling my tour bus to arrange my ride home and everything in between..Just don't be afraid to ask... Even the maids and the yard men are extremely friendly... Strike up a conversation and you will have a friend for your stay that will help you with whatever you may need.. The food and drinks as well as the bartenders and waitresses were awesome... You have to try the club sandwich and have...
Although this property is under renovation, my stay at Kaisers Sunset Hotel was a wonderful experience. As soon as I got there, they greeted me with a specialty drink while I waited for my room. My room was immaculate! The view from my room was perfect. The staff was very friendly and they communicated everything very well with me, I will definitely stay here again. I can’t wait to see the new renovations!
This was our second time at this hotel. While two years ago, we had a wonderul time too - we did notice that the Staff especially tried to connect and make our stay good. We had no issues last time, but read some people saying service wasn't good. Hello, it's jamaica, It's cooked fresh and what is the rush?
Great restaurant too. We actually spent many meals at the hotel. We normally go to our favorite places up the beach-but the food at the Hotel was so good and a better price than our other...
This is a small resort but central clean and on the beach. The beach area is a public space so there is the inconvenience of husslers approaching you but that really wasn't a big issue. There is a nice coffee shop. I didn't eat there but it is convenient for bars and resteraunts nearby. Bit difficult to find the entrance gate, but the gate keeper and reception were 24 hours for me despite the website saying 10pm. I would say value for money.
I booked a destination for my 21 year old daughter birthday and she had aworry free amazing time. The host setup everything my daughter wanted to do flawlessly! The private chef was exceptional with Jamaican and American cuisine! The driver was always out front and on time! Can't wait for the next visit!
Took a week-long trip with my girlfriend in late July 2015 and stayed in the oceanfront room.
Grounds/staff: The grounds are extremely well-kept and every single member of the staff is incredibly polite and friendly. The ambiance is highly relaxing and extremely quiet; not what my girlfriend and I were expecting in Jamaica, but isn't necessarily a bad thing. The mosquitoes became a bit bothersome, but the hotel made every effort to prevent this by 'fogging' the lower area of the resort twice...
