8/10 Very good

Nice big room.
Carolyn, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

There’s evidence that this hotel was a former major chain hotel. But, the room was not a bad place to stay. A/C works, bedsheets were clean and comfortable, and the service staff was nice. Another plus was it was very close to the interstate. Would recommend for only a overnighter.
Justin, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was the most quiet hotel room I have ever stayed in. Although only 1 block away from the interstate, I never heard any traffic noise. The floor mounted heat pump was also the quietest. It rarely ran, even though the temps were in the 20s. I attribute that to excellent insulation, which probably explains the quiet rooms. Although an older hotel, it was probably a higher level hotel due to the quality of the room fixtures. It is currently being remodeled but was still very comfortable despite the remodeling.
Douglas, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Conti was especially kind and helpful. The hotel desperately needs lights and signage outside. A complete landscaping refresh. First look, the appearance of the building was “sketchy”. The lobby is dark, uninviting. The room was clean, A/C worked, clean linens. We would absolutely stay there again.
Robin, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very happy with my stay.

Honestly a great stay. I’m traveling cross country so I’ve stayed at some really bad hotels recently, this one was clean, comfy bed, all utilities worked, quiet area, room felt private and sound proof. Pet friendly as well only $10 extra. The grounds around aren’t great but that isn’t really important compared to the room. Only issue was locating it, there’s no signage so it looked like an abandoned building when I pulled up.
Alyssa, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Nice staff clean rooms and easy check in.

Don’t judge this book by its cover.

So on the outside you kind of wonder about this place when you pull up, but it’s obvious they are working on it. The place was CLEAN, freshly painted and smelled wonderful!!! The manager was very nice and, though it’s a “no frills” place to stay, it was awesome.
Elizabeth, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It wasn’t bad the staff was very friendly.
Deidra, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Run down. Cheaply done renovations. Very warm.
Veronica, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Reasonable room for the price. The outside of the building looks abandoned, with broken windows, weeds, unkempt, etc. rooms were reasonably clean, but fixtures and facilities run down, sticky carpet, worn and in bad repair.
Paul, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Price was ok but overall the property very run down. Said they couldn’t give me a receipt because I went through Expedia.
Dick, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

When I first drove by, I thought it was abandoned. Then I realized it was the actual hotel that I had booked. The reception area had handwritten signs and smelled very musty. The hallway to our room smelled strongly of animal urine. The room smelled better and the air conditioning worked. The sheets were on the bed inside out, but appeared clean. The bathroom door knob was not attached, there was paint, scratched off of it, built up dirt in the corners of the floor. The sink did not have a full drain plug, but did not drain water efficiently. We slept all right, but overall couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Last resort

If non-working drains, partially working showerheads, filthy carpets, smells of smoke masking spray and sewage, partial coffee pot without coffee are your thing then this place is for you!! If we had not been using GPS we would not have found it bc the only sign was a sheet of paper in the window. It looked condemned. Previous reviews were very misleading as I check those before booking. Needless to say I regret this booking.
Anne, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Hotel didn’t have a sign. Property needs a lot of work. Not sure if it’s new ownership and rebuilding or just letting it run down. On the other hand I slept really well.

For under $60 no frills good bed and shower fine we couldn’t get sound on CBS on TV other channels fine.

Jeremy, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Smelled. Unkempt
Dominic, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

The hotel was very unclean. Showers were dirty and towels looked dingy and old along with pillow cases.
Christopher, 1-night trip

Nothing
Alan, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The property is a bit old & run down and gives off a bit of a “sketchy “ feel to it. There actually was no street sign indicating the motel. The room itself was clean and adequately supplied. The front desk manager was very nice and provided us with a room facing where we parked our truck/rv. This is a convenient place off of Rt 70 to bed down after 9.5 hours of driving!
Frances, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Stay was OK

The management was wonderfully nice. However, it is an older hotel and the remodel is cosmetic. There are alot of holes that need repair. It was clean enough but could definitely be better.
constance, 3-night trip

Very clean and well-maintained motel. Pleasant and helpful proprietor. Very affordable price. Why pay more to get less?
James, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

This place was filthy, no lighting, no cups or coffee.

Clean and friendly

Motel was clean comfortable manager was great very friendly he made our stay very nice we had a total of 5 rooms all were very nice. Will stay here anytime we come to Colby!
Carlos, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Uninhabitable! Should be condemned!

This hotel was disgusting. I am a previous hotel own and landlord. I would never let anyone be expected to stay in that filth. If we hadn’t driven so late and weren’t exhausted we would have left. It was 10:30 pm and we had been driving 10 hours. They charged $40 for deep cleaning because we had a pet. That room hadn’t had anything done to it except linen change. We slept in our clothes because we didn’t trust that blankets had been washed and definitely didn’t bath. The carpets were so filthy and stained that we had to leave shoes on because our feet stuck to carpet.
