I’m not sure how to rate this hotel.
The issue began after my first night of stay. At 6 a.m. the following morning, the hotel experienced a power outage that wasn’t resolved by the evening. As a result, the hotel arranged a shuttle bus to transfer us to another hotel for our stay.
Firstly, due to the power outage, we had to pack our luggage in the dark, which was very inconvenient. On top of that, the new hotel’s location was not as convenient, and the room was significantly smaller than the one we originally booked. Despite these issues, the hotel did not provide any compensation after I checked out.
I paid for a five-star hotel that was very close to the central station, but in the end, I was deliberately relocated to a four-star hotel under the same group, far from the central location, because of the power outage. Shouldn’t the hotel compensate us for the price difference?
Additionally, I am dissatisfied with the service quality of the alternate hotel they arranged for us. Firstly, the water pressure in the shower was extremely weak, and the water temperature fluctuated between very cold and very hot, even without any adjustment. Furthermore, the television in the room was non-functional.
Even after checking out, I have not received any notice or compensation. I also reached out to Hotels.com staff, but I am still waiting for a response.
